Softball Recap: Rensselaer Central Wins Going Away Against Tri-Township

While Rensselaer Central put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Tri-Township. The Bombers blew past the Tigers 19-0. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Brooke Koebcke was incredible, firing off three triples, four runs, and five RBI while going 3-for-3. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Stacia Crabtree was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two triples and two RBI.

Rensselaer Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Rensselaer Central's record is now 11-7. As for Tri-Township, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Rensselaer Central will welcome Kouts at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Tri-Township, they will take on Morgan Township at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
