The Ursuline Academy Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Monday, Ursuline Academy suffered a tough 41-21 loss at the hands of West Clermont. While losing is never fun, Ursuline Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while West Clermont is ranked 33rd).
Meanwhile, Bishop Fenwick had to endure a 26-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 victory over Trotwood-Madison on Monday. Bishop Fenwick's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Ursuline Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Bishop Fenwick, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-18.
Ursuline Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bishop Fenwick in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ursuline Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
