A well-balanced attack led Overton over Stratford in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Overton Bobcats blew the Stratford Spartans out of the water with a 66-19 final score. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Stratford still got an impressive performance from Hannah Johnson, who posted seven points.

Overton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Overton will take on Stem Preparatory Academy in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. Stratford and McGavock will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. McGavock will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Stratford surely won't give up without a fight.
