The Deep Run Wildcats entered their tilt with the Hermitage Panthers with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Deep Run snuck past Hermitage with a 43-38 win on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Deep Run, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Hermitage's loss came despite strong showings from Breyona Robinson and Tori Woodley. Robinson scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Woodley dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Robinson hasn't dropped below four steals for five straight games.
Deep Run's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. As for Hermitage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.
Deep Run didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-45 loss vs. Glen Allen on the 9th. Hermitage has also already played their next contest, a 56-28 win against J.R. Tucker on the 9th.
