Meanwhile, Hutto put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Copperas Cove a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Hutto needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Bryan has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-4 record this season. As for Hutto, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-3.
