The Carmel School Wildcats lost against the Richmond Christian Warriors back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Carmel School was outmatched by the Warriors at home and fell 75-22. The Carmel School has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Richmond Christian to victory were Kailah Carter and Morgan Trimble. Carter dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds, while Trimble scored 31 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Carter has scored at least a third of Richmond Christian's points. Jillian Gravatt was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.
The Carmel School's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Richmond Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
The Carmel School will head out on the road to challenge the Royals at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Richmond Christian, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fredericksburg Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
