Jayzion Mcqueen Turns in Season-Best Performance
Jayzion Mcqueen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Crestview to the win on Friday. Mcqueen rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 88 yards and a touchdown. Crestview is 3-1 when Mcqueen posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
Mcqueen and Crestview will venture away from home to take on Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Mcqueen up against the Gators' star quarterback Nino Freeman. Makael Williams Dazzles in Pace Win
Makael Williams's big game helped extend Pace's winning streak to five on Friday. Williams turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Pace pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Williams and Pace have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Pine Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
