Chowchilla has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. The Chowchilla Tribe and the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans will round out the year against one another at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

They really took it to Le Grand for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-42 win at home. Given Chowchilla's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 578th, while Le Grand is ranked 1250th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Chowchilla's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khaled Escheik, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Zayne Smith was another key contributor, scoring 24 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cimarron-Memorial beat Canyon Springs 46-41 on Friday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Cimarron-Memorial has scored all season.
Chowchilla pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Cimarron-Memorial, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
