Having just played yesterday, the Hall Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Amboy Clippers at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Hall strolled past Somonauk/Leland with points to spare, taking the game 52-33.
Meanwhile, Amboy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 51-40 victory over Bureau Valley. That's two games straight that Amboy has won by exactly 11 points.
Hall's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Amboy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Hall came up short against Amboy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 35-31. Can Hall avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
