Meanwhile, Trinity Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Coastal HomeSchool, falling 109-45. Trinity Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-28.
Despite the loss, Trinity Christian saw an underclassman step up: Nathan Suchovsky scored 20 points. That's the first time this season that Suchovsky scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Sherrod, who scored 11 points.
Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-5.
Faith Christian Academy was taken down by Trinity Christian 63-23 when the teams last played back in November. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Faith Christian Academy was down 34-7.
