Scappoose strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let The Dalles Riverhawks get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Saige Casey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). In other batting news, Scappoose got a massive performance out of Sophia Bloyd, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Ashlynn Komp was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Scappoose was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
