It was a good run, but the Southside Christian Patriots unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Bible Baptist Christian at home and fell 102-63. Southside Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-31.
Alex Forbes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bible Baptist Christian, dropping a double-double on 35 points and ten assists. It was the first time this season that Forbes posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Rahming, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Southside Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Bible Baptist Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.
Southside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bible Baptist Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
