South Lakes is 1-6 against Centreville since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The South Lakes Seahawks will head out on the road to face off against the Centreville Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Lakes has nine straight wins, Centreville has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Lakes to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nick Harris, who threw for 235 yards and a touchdown. South Lakes also got help from Brian Kennedy who showed off his sure hands for 94 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Centreville was the victim of a rough 37-14 loss at the hands of Chantilly on Friday.
Centreville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jourdan Simpson, who picked up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Will Shields who threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns.
South Lakes' win was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.11 points. As for Centreville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
South Lakes was taken down by Centreville 46-6 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Thankfully for South Lakes, Isaiah Ragland (who rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
