In what's become a running theme this season, the Cordova Lancers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-30 win on the road. The victory was just what Cordova needed coming off of a 58-37 loss in their prior contest.
Cordova found their leader in underclassman Ethan Fleming, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fleming has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Panasyuk, who scored ten points.
Cordova is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-25.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Foothill the next time they take the court. Cordova will head out to face Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Valley will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
