Churchill is 8-2 against Wootton since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Churchill Bulldogs will be staying on the road to face off against the Wootton Patriots at 7:15 p.m. on December 19th.
Last Friday, Churchill came up short against Quince Orchard and fell 37-29. That's two games in a row now that Churchill has lost by exactly eight points.
Wootton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-25 victory over Rockville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wootton.
Churchill's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Wootton, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Churchill didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wootton in their previous matchup back in March, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. Does Churchill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wootton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
