Fort Collins (Colo.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 38-17 victory over
Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, Colo.) on Saturday.
The Lambkins were up 24-10 at the half after taking the lead on a kick return in the second quarter.
Fort Collins expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. FC scored once in the quarter on a passing touchdown.
Justin Schiller played well for the Lobos. The senior caught one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Coming into the game the Lambkins had allowed 20.1 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding Rocky Mountain right around its season average of 14.0 points scored per game.
The victory will ease some of the sting of FC's close 19-16 loss to RM last season.
