In what's become a running theme this season, New Town gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Western Tech & Environmental Science 64-36 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory New Town has posted against Western Tech & Environmental Science since February 15, 2017.
New Town's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nialah Mingo, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Nasia Hart, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Sparrows Point unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 50-33 bruising from Catonsville.
New Town's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Sparrows Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
Everything came up roses for New Town against Sparrows Point in their previous meeting back in January of 2020 as the squad secured a 61-19 victory. Does New Town have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sparrows Point turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
