The Crandon Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 80-66 victory over Goodman-Pembine. The victory was familiar territory for Crandon who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Jaxon Keepers, who went 7 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Jahnke, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds.
Crandon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Goodman-Pembine, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crandon will challenge Wabeno/Laona at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Wabeno/Laona is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. Goodman-Pembine's road trip will continue as they head out to face Florence at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
