After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Catholic - N.I., Westgate was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Opelousas Fighting Tigers as they made off with a 17-3 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Trintee Lewis was incredible, firing off two home runs, ten RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Harrison, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Westgate lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
