After three games on the road, Valley Christian is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Lincoln Lynx at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Saturday, Valley Christian came up short against Arlee and fell 50-42. Valley Christian has struggled against Arlee recently, as their contest on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Lincoln had just enough and edged Varsity Opponent out 37-34 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaitlyn Brown led the charge by scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds. Brown continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Krymzen Dempster, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Valley Christian took their victory against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 52-31. Does Valley Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lincoln turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
