The Woodford County Yellowjackets will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Harrison County Thorobreds at 1:00  p.m. Woodford County is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8  runs per game this season.
 On Wednesday, Woodford County faced Greenwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Woodford County came out on top against Greenwood by a score of  4-1.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madie Buntain, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Addie Bryant, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  Harrison County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 18-9 walloping at the hands of Fort Walton Beach.
 Woodford County is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. As for Harrison County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 10-3.
 Everything went Woodford County's way against Harrison County in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023 as Woodford County made off with  a  9-2 victory.
