AAA District 16 recap Oct. 16, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Memphis Central, who took down 169th ranked Memphis Central, 12-7.
Hamilton moved up to 178 from 218 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAA District 16. The Wildcats were able to make the jump by beating the Warriors 12-7.
Memphis East's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Eddie Harper has thrown for 358 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Marcus Robinson has 10 catches for 194 yards. Antonio Clifton leads the league in rushing with 766 yards.
Whitehaven extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Melrose, 58-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
