Northview was the  18-6 winner over Maumee when they last played one another  back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Northview Wildcats fell just short of the Maumee Panthers by a score of  7-5 on Tuesday. Northview has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Northview's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Maumee, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will stay at home for another  game and welcome Waite at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Waite is coming into the  match with five straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Northview will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Maumee, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Eastwood at 4:45  p.m.
