Softball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Lincoln's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Lincoln barely beat North Marion the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars blew past the Huskies 13-3 on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Addie Moore, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Riley Pearlman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for North Marion, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, North Marion will take on rival East Fairmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
