Volleyball Recap: Redwood Valley Victorious

While Redwood Valley's victory against Montevideo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Thunderhawks 3-2. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Thunderhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Redwood Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Montevideo, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redwood Valley will host Zumbrota-Mazeppa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Montevideo, they will welcome Lac qui Parle Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
