Maranatha Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dash Ekeroth, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. Adrian (A.D.) Ownbey was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 3 blocks.
Madison's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Maranatha Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Madison will head out on the road to face off against Mira Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mira Mesa has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 669 points over their last nine matches.
