The Whites Creek Cobras''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Marshall County 60-18. Whites Creek was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-12.
Marshall County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamriq Perryman, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Silas Teat was another key contributor, throwing for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes.
Whites Creek has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Marshall County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whites Creek will challenge Station Camp on Friday. Station Camp will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Marshall County, they will head out on the road to face off against Pearl-Cohn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pearl-Cohn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
