They had to suffer through a rough 88-30 loss at the hands of Unity Christian Academy. Islamic Foundation was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-7.
Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shamar Coleman, who scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Coleman hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Robinson, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Islamic Foundation's defeat was their 14th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Unity Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islamic Foundation won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Universal at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Universal is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Unity Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against College Prep of America at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. College Prep of America is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.8 points per game.
