Bishop Eustace Prep is a perfect 10-0 against Seneca since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.
Seneca will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Bishop Eustace Prep extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Crusaders blew past Moorestown 17-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Chris Romeo and Max Sullivan made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Romeo struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Sullivan pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those six strikeouts gave Romeo a new career-high. At bat, Romeo went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, while Sullivan went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That home run was Romeo's first of the season.

In other batting news, Mason Rosenberg was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Braedon DeAngelis also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Bishop Eustace Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). They put the hurt on Camden County Vo-Tech with a sharp 14-1 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Collin Heaney tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Luke Gsell was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brett Steinhour, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Bishop Eustace Prep's record now sits at 6-3-1. As for Seneca, their record is now 4-6.
Seneca's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop Eustace Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Seneca, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Bishop Eustace Prep's hitters?
Bishop Eustace Prep skirted past Seneca 2-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
