After a string of three wins, The Columbia Coyotes''s good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 26-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of River View. Columbia lost against River View in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 14-12 score last time.
Karson Rawlings was his usual excellent self, rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns.
Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for River View, their victory was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on Tri-Cities Prep at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Tri-Cities Prep is ranked 225th, while Columbia is ranked 204th). As for River View, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
