Perhaps the best among them was Langston Boyd, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. That's the first time this season that Boyd posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Brenden Ridge, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Mallard Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Harding University, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Mallard Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Hough at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hough is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Harding University, they will head out on the road to face off against West Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Charlotte presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harding University in North Carolina (West Charlotte is ranked 130th, while Harding University is ranked 320th).
