It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 83-21, which was the final score in Logos Prep Academy's's tilt against San Antonio Christian on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Logos Prep Academy has scored all season.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brayden Tibbetts, who scored four points along with six blocks. Those six blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Clayton Goldy, who scored seven points.
This is the second loss in a row for Logos Prep Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for San Antonio Christian, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 16-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Faith Academy the next time they take the court. San Antonio Christian will head out to face Faith Academy at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, while Logos Prep Academy will head out to face them at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday.
