The North Sevier Wolves will head out on the road to  face off against  the Delta Rabbits  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
In Tuesday's  Canine Competition, North Sevier had to take the L. They came up short against  Gunnison Valley last Tuesday, falling  15-0. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.
 North Sevier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dally Wasden, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
Meanwhile, Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  16-8 to Ogden, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Elee Anderson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Brinley Styler also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Even though they lost, Delta  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .538. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  matchups.
 North Sevier dropped their record down to 2-1 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Delta's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  North Sevier hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .462. It's a different story for Delta, though, as  they've  only  averaged .236. Will they be able to contain North Sevier's hitters?
