Even though they lost, Manchester Valley's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 57 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Manchester Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Strohman, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Enderle, who scored 16 points.
Manchester Valley's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Oakdale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester Valley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Winters Mill at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Oakdale, they will square off against Linganore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Linganore and Oakdale are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
