H-L-V entered their tilt with Iowa Valley on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

H-L-V's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Iowa Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
