After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McMullen County, Freer was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Thorndale Bulldogs as the Freer Buckaroos made off with a 39-16 victory. The Buckaroos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Freer has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33 points. As for Thorndale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Freer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-29 win against D'Hanis on the 13th. Thorndale has also already played their next matchup, a 49-46 defeat against San Isidro on the 13th.
