The Trinity Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Fieldston on the road and fell 64-24. If Trinity hoped to take revenge for the 59-15 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fieldston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarah Weinick, who scored 21 points. Weinick hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Jade ling Eng-stewart was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fieldston, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Poly Prep Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Poly Prep Country Day is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Fieldston, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Staten Island Academy at 4:30 p.m.
