Hardee is 8-2 against Avon Park since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Hardee couldn't beat Babcock on Thursday even though they stacked 12 runs on them in the third inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 14-13.

Elida Ramirez and Marti Edenfield stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ramirez got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Edenfield went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Ramirez has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Avon Park came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Terriers get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Kamya Brassell was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Alyssa Henderson was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Avon Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive games.
Hardee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Avon Park, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
