Gibault Catholic was outmatched by Harrisburg at home and fell 64-28. Gibault Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-9.
Despite the loss, Gibault Catholic still got an impressive performance from Myah Ticer, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ticer has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Briana Baldridge, who scored seven points.
Gibault Catholic has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Harrisburg, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.
Gibault Catholic will head out on the road to square off against Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murphysboro at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Murphysboro is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses.
