Samantha Barker was a one-man wrecking crew for Freer as she scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabbi Salinas, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, IDEA Edinburg College Prep entered their tilt with Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. IDEA Edinburg College Prep escaped with a win two weeks ago against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial by the margin of a single free throw, 45-44. Given IDEA Edinburg College Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial is ranked 985th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
