Auburn extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 77-73 W against the Kennedy Catholic Lancers. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 68-52 win the Lancers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

As for Kennedy Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly four points.

When it comes to explaining why Kennedy Catholic lost, don't look at Zion Stone. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-18 on his way to 32 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Stone's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was CJ Lambert, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 16 points along with six boards and three steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Auburn and Kentridge will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Kennedy Catholic will take on Tahoma in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
