The Chelsea Academy Knights will head out on the road to take on the Trinity at Meadow View Tempest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Chelsea Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Chelsea Academy had to suffer through a rough 67-13 loss at the hands of Virginia Academy. While losing is never fun, Chelsea Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while Virginia Academy is ranked 18th).
Meanwhile, Trinity at Meadow View came up short against St. Michael the Archangel on Tuesday and fell 38-31.
Chelsea Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Trinity at Meadow View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Chelsea Academy beat Trinity at Meadow View 70-61 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chelsea Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
