The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Vivianna Morales, who posted three points in addition to 11 boards and four blocks. Morales is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jodee Jurovschi, who scored five points and four steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Carroll Catholic). They breezed by Odyssey Charter School to the tune of 60-7 on Thursday. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: South Fork has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 31.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like John Carroll Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
