Baseball Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Takes a Loss

St. John's Christian Academy lost against Williamsburg Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers came up short against the Williamsburg Academy Stallions, falling 14-2.

Landon Chipman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

St. John's Christian Academy suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's Christian Academy will head out to take on Hilton Head Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hilton Head Prep knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully St. John's Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Williamsburg Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dillon Christian at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st.
