The Desert Christian Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-12 win over Greyhills Academy on the road.
Anika Mulkey was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Desert Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Emmy Welch, who scored eight points.
Desert Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Greyhills Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Desert Christian is on the road again on Friday and play against Arete Prep at 4:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Greyhills Academy and Ray will face off at 3:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Ray is ranked 276th, while Greyhills Academy is ranked 270th).
