The Indian Creek Redskins will head out on the road to face off against the Catholic Central Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Indian Creek is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road.
Last Monday, Indian Creek earned a 55-44 victory over Carrollton.
McKenna Scott was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with seven assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kylie Anderson, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Catholic Central stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Edison 61-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Catholic Central has posted since November 22, 2023.
Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Catholic Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Indian Creek beat Catholic Central 49-36 in their previous matchup back in November of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
