Northwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zaid Yunis out in front who scored 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Yunis has scored at least 25% of Northwood's points. Ryan Abaye was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 3 steals.
Northwood has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 7-1 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Peninsula, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Northwood will face off against Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peninsula, they will head out on the road to face off against Cactus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cactus has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 219 points over their last three matches.
