When it comes to explaining why Pickett County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacob Amonett. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Amonett's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Eli Reagan, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.

East Robertson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Pickett County is ranked 62nd).
