Bowne has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,132 points over their last 15 matchups.
Bowne stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 74-44 win over Curtis. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Bowne has posted yet this season.
It was another big night for Christopher Judge, who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Salmon, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, Eagle Academy III beat Queens Teaching 64-53 last Saturday. The victory was just what Eagle Academy III needed coming off of a 83-48 loss in their prior match.
Bowne's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Eagle Academy III, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Bowne took their victory against Eagle Academy III in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 76-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bowne since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
