Eastern is 10-0 against West Union since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Eastern Warriors will be playing at home against the West Union Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Eastern will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Eastern's 14-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They had to suffer through a rough 53-24 loss at the hands of Lynchburg-Clay. Eastern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but West Union had to settle for a 45-43 defeat against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on Monday.
Eastern now has a losing record at 1-2. As for West Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Eastern against West Union when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 61-14 win. Will Eastern repeat their success, or does West Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
